Planes isn't a bad looking Steel at all if you're a fan of the movie; if you're not it's your option to pass. Mary Poppins is a favorite in my collection. The spot gloss is great. I had been hoping they would put one out for a long while and I finally got it. Opinion isn't fact; it's just opinion.

Planes Steelbook I myself in the end purchased it but only because I got it a cheap price and decided I wanted to have all of the
Zavvi Disney Collection Steelbooks

The Film is just about ok in parts but in my opinion is poor against the Disney Classics that's more wanted as a release
It was a surprise choice for a Steelbook when lot of people want the classics Instead and has been the least sold of the collection

Overall as long as the majority of the classics get a Steelbook it's not a problem

Mary Poppins is a nice Steelbook and very good film with brilliant extras
It's also one of Disney's best box office returns both cinema and home video
Mary Poppins was the most profitable film of 1965
Walt Disney was directly more involved in the production than the other films it was his most wanted story to be made into a film


Planes well yes that was a waste of a Steelbook

Well Mary Poppins could still have had a steelbook release but if you look at the rest of the releases in this "collection" they are all numbered disney classics, planes and poppins simply dont fit in and thats why they are an eyesore.

This Collection is not called Disney Classic Collection

It's called
The Disney Collection
The collection can be any animated or live action movies and partley animated (Mary Poppins)
Disney Toons (Planes)
except Pixar as this has its own collection

Most so far have been the classics but at any stage you may see Disney live action movies get a Steelbook
Most wanted are the Disney Classics and that's why the collection is mostly that so far

Probably for the time being.
There could possibly be a couple months hiatus while they plan the next batch.
Or I could be completely wrong.

I doubt that will happen
Zavvi and Disney will keep releasing titles until they either run out of titles to release or sales get to a point not worth it

There is still plenty of titles they can release
Spread them out over time not all at once
I could not afford all the same time and I'm sure others are the same

After these 5 titles (16/17/18/19/20) are released you can expect more be announced

There are still some very big sellers not released yet
Titles in the Vault been released from the vault will be very big sellers

My wallet wants time to recover
Plenty if time for the other titles

It's been mentioned as a wanted release by a good few people

If you look at the releases so far excluding planes
Most have been titles requested a lot
Especially the ones 16/17/18/19/20

Vaulted titles are no for now until released from the vault

The rest look at the titles people have been requesting
This batch has been those requested titles
Keep posting your wanted titles they read these forums

I have posted lot of potential titles and look at the feedback from people
I also have predicted all announced titles so far
Just a lucky guess

I'm not convinced that any of the supposed 4th June releases will actually come out that day, except for maybe Robin Hood.

It's also odd that #11 (Alice In Wonderland) has been pushed back to 30th June, whereas we've already had #12-#15. What's the hold-up? Surely Zavvi should alter the numbers on their website to reflect that #11 isn't actually the 11th one released? If all other release dates are honoured, then that would actually make Alice In Wonderland #19 or #20!
