As most of you know, I am a HUGE horror movie fan and with Halloween just around the corner I am thinking of trying something new. 1 horror movie for every day in October. I'm not talking about doing double features so you can have a day off, I'm talking about 1 a day. Anyone else interested in trying this. I know some people prolly don't have the library (or the time) that I do so it might be tough. If you are interested in trying then mark your spot in this thread and come back every day and update it. I can't believe i convinced my bride to do this with me, hahaha. If you miss a day, don't feel bad, keep updating when you watch.

Kinda f**ked up this year. A little late starting thanks to a trip to Florida for Halloween Horror Nights.

I haven't seen any of the Saw films yet, although I have seen parts but it just doesn't interest me at all. *shrugs*

among the usual Tales From The Crypt Episodes I also fit in another episode of Supernatural... getting into the middle of Season 4. I have to say that as this season has progressed I've caught myself trying to squeeze in two episodes in a row. Good show!

not really a "horror" movie... but whatever... like a smoker trying to quit, I failed so I feel like I can go back to willy nilly watching habits

Oh man, just see SAW 1, you wont regret it! Of course, because SAW 1 will kick so much ass you will then want tosee others only to be let down more and more as they progress lol.

I'm back on the SAW bandwagon. watched No.2 tonight. this is as far as I've gotten in the past with the series. looking forward to moving on to something I've never seen with No.3.

how was The Hills Run Red? I don't know much about this one but saw it the other day and got me wondering.

Watched "House of Wax" yesterday... totally not a remake, right?... it sucked so bad.

I love the Vincent Price one

the saga continued last night with SAW 4. I really like the way these movies are really just a continuation of the previous one. I can see how someone might not care for them if they watched one every year but to watch them night after night is pretty cool. kinda like a 5 (now 6) part miniseries. Unfortunately they are adding more and more things you need to keep track of. It's kinda like the show LOST and like the TV series I am starting to lose some things. I won't get to watch the 5th until tomorrow night cause I am going to see "Paranormal Activity" tonight. really looking forward to that one.

let us know what you think about "Paranormal Activity", i was thinking about watching it this weekend but i have to drive a ways to see it.

OK, i went to see Paranormal Activity earlier tonight. I thought it was good but not great. There is alot of walking around with the camcorder while nothing is really going on and that kinda gave me a headache. The nighttime scenes on the bedroom are really well done, a little repeditive but you alwaysknow something is gonna happen so that kinda makes the hair stand up on your arms. I had goosebumps during almost all of the nighttime shots. i think i really was scared which is cool because i haven't had that feeling in along time. I left the theatre with nothing to say about it. If as movie is AWESOME me and my bride usually talk about it all the way back to the car but nothing was said tonight, haha. I's glad I saw it but don't have the need to own it on blu-ray or even see it again for that matter. In the other hand, I said that about Martyrs and recently I've had the urge to see it again. you never know.

Watched SAW 5 tonight. this one sucked compaared to the other 4. it's like they are trying to re-write the first few so they can make sense of this one. i wasn't very happy with it. i will go see the 6th in the theatre since i've come this far. hope it's better.

watched The Grudge tonight. ya know it really is pretty creepy. I used to think that this flick sucked because I saw Ju On first but not having seen Ju On in a while, this isn't so bad.

i just saw this movie tonight. im not a huge fan of horror movies, but ill like them if they are well made.

i thought it was OK. im a tough scare, and i thought the scary scenes were just OK. most of the movie is a build up to the end, and the end happened so quick, so the movie was actually kind of BORING. theres probably 80 mins of build up nothing scenes, and only 20 mins of actual thrilling stuff. no way i ever watch it again, but in terms of all the scary movies ive seen, this probably lands somewhere in the middle.

IMO it doesn't compare to blair witch like some people were saying it does. and its WAY overhyped.

Tonights flick is one i've been anxiously awaiting to see, "Trick r Treat". I think I was disappointed in some aspects but in others I was quite happy with. The film isn't wuite what I expected I guess. All I knew is that there were 4 short stories all intertwined. They did a great job at resolving all of the stories but there was one question left in my mind at the end of it. Why was the little witch girl at THAT house? You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it I guess or maybe I got the house all mixed up. The film had a bit of a "Disney meets John Carpenter" feel to it which was actually kinda fun to watch. All in all i think this flick is great and it will become a halloween classic to be viewed each year for sure.
