I am amazed with the price of the latest auction $341.00 I wonder if the high prices are being driven by international bidders. From what I have observed, those who don't ship internationally, are not getting the high action. I don't think the inclusion of the t-shirt has anything to do with the high dollars.

The t-shirt was only given to those customers at SDCC who bought both the babydoll mini-statue and the BD, so definitely collectable imo ....

More amazed that for the one that closed @ $341 the bidding was so slow. Unfortunately the other one doesn't do International.

Just a note - if any USA members on here are selling copies on e-bay and sending internationally - at those prices this is fetching - ONLY send EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL. You'll avoid more issues that way - trust me.

Definitely agree with that-sadly several "scams" occuring, where receivers claim to never get an item-if you don't have a tracking number (and sometimes even if you do, given Ebay's increased preference to side with sellers), you're SOL, and the buyer will likely be refunded.

Just caught this thread and wanted to mention that I attended SDCC this year. I waited in line at the Gentle Giant booth just to pick up one of these. Most people in line were waiting for the Star Wars Jawa figure which I had no interest in for $70 until I found out that they were selling on eBay for $270+. I picked up a few other collectibles unrelated to this, but most of the time I was waiting in lines for hours and didn't even get a chance to see any panels only because I had a Thursday pass. I will be attending the 2013 SDCC since I have other plans next year. This is limited to 900 copies and I had no idea how many people actually liked this movie. I didn't have any problems picking one up at the time. If I new how much people liked it, I would have picked up another copy.

The Hasbro line must have been the longest since we all wanted the Ultimate Optimus Prime and the hybrid GI-Joe & Transformers StarScream with Cobra Commander, including Megatron in gun form. Although the lines were long and I missed all the panels, my wife and I had a great time.

Just posted a whole list of detail for anyone attending, but the page didn't load when I submitted. To make a few paragraphs short, attend more than 1 day if you want to attend panels. The first day you'll spend buying exclusives. Please feel free to ask any questions. For any Alive fans I have a limited run of 100 Femme Fatale Alice on eBay.

I picked up a few collectibles and can answer any questions if you guys want to attend next year.

SDCC is the biggest CC event in the US, and San Diego is arguably the most beautiful city in the US (if you're into beaches, warm weather, and that sort of thing).
