Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

Going through a damaged steelbook phase with Zavvi at the moment, there new packaging is still pretty awful. Only had a handful of orders using their new packaging actually arrive in un damaged condtion.

It would be nice if they took the amazon approach when dealing with damaged goods, by sending out the replacement before they get the original back.

Getting fed up with Zavvi now over the past year i have tons of steel books go missing and it only seems to happen with them and they don't even seem bothered about it.

Hey guys! I just ordered from Zavvi last week. My first time. Wondering how long it usually takes. I live in Canada. Any Canadians around? Thanks.

In all my experience with Zavvi (6 orders), it has ranged from 5-8 business days. But I live in Ontario. I would say 8-11 business days for you because based on your location, Western Canada. Usually international arrivals are processed first in Montreal (St-Laurent, QC) or Toronto (Mississauga, ON) when coming from Europe. Once it has passed sorting, it will be distributed through normal lettermail to Canadian addresses.

If you are worried about customs, don't. I have ordered from Zavvi several times and have never been hit once with it.

Ok, so I can positively say I thoroughly tested TMNT out on my gf's player. I used a B region disc to verify that the region settings were properly switching. Set it to B, tested. Set it to C and made sure the region lock message came up with my test disc. Popped in TMNT and it worked. Set it back to B and tested my test which loaded normally. Set it to A, tested, same thing.

I just tested on an old A region Magnovox player. It was exceedingly slow (old player problems) but it still loaded and played. Like I mentioned in a previous post, my ps3 quickly skipped through a black screen that shows up as "Title 6" then get hung up on a black screen "Title 4". Thanks to this Magnovox, I know Title 6 is the general piracy warning and "MediumRare" logo, Title 4 is the menu.

So it seems that the disc is Region Free, but it doesn't seem to like Sony Blu-Ray players.

I'm going to some friends' tonight where there's both a PS3 and PS4. I'll test further there.

I got rid of my Sony as it wouldn't play many blu rays. Every time I updated the machine another playable disc went bye bye!

Same problem on my friends PS3.

It worked in the PS4, but it asked if I wanted to allow blu-ray to connect to the internet. I don't know if they've never watched a movie on it, or if thT is something this disc tries to do.

I'll have to check my settings and see if there's anything against BD live...

This is why I love Zavvi so much.

I pay in euros yet I earn Reward Points in Pounds Sterling.
For example ... I paid €20.38 and got 16 points

Now when I redeem points there shaft me AGAIN
Take a look at what happens if I try to pay in euros or sterling.

Hilarious...

I had the slowest delivery from Zavvi recently, it took 1 week and 1 day from their dispatch, usually takes 2-4 days for me, was on the verge of reporting it lost.

The Steelbook arrived in the super solid A1 mailer, with the amazing bubble wrap around it. Yet again I have been lucky it has not arrived in a banana shape, has no scuffs, scratches, dinges and dents.

I will avoid buying off Zavvi as much as possible, I had hoped they would change the packaging at some point. I cancelled most of my pre-orders too, just kept a few, in two minds about those too.

It wasn't an import Steelbook was it? Because I'm pretty sure they have those sent to them directly from the US, then ship them to you after they've arrived directly from the UK - the one import I ordered from them took just over a week to arrive too.

Most of my orders take about 5 - 7 days to get delivered to me, not sure if that's because I live I Scotland or not.

Cancelled a ton of pre-orders today. After seeing the current state of their packaging and the fact that pretty much EVERY steelbook they sell goes out of stock before it comes out and then turns up in massive quantities afterwards........well, it seemed only logical.

So I've ditched Scream, Sin City, Unknown, Elephant Man, Copland, Indiana Jones (all of them), Cliffhanger and La Haine. I expect most of them will be back in stock as soon as they are released then about a month later I'll be able to pick them up for far cheaper than the 10% I got by using a discount code.

Feel better for it as most of those films were ones I was on the fence about and seeing that Zavvi have dropped their limited editions back down to £14.99 makes me think the £17.99 price point on these releases was far too high in the first place.

It was a Zavvi exclusive, so it took far too long, I thought it was lost, just happy I don't have to deal with zavvi's amazing customer service. ;)

What was the point in offering a possibly 10% off when the code didn't go live until roughly 10 minutes after the game commenced? Only got 31p off. Timing is crucial when it comes to live sports *facepalm*

But hey ho, 31p is better than nothing I suppose.

Having a nightmare with Zavvi at the minute. I received a damaged steelbook, and have sent them pics on 3 separate occasions. They acknowledge them, then don't send me the return info.

I then inform them that they haven't sent the return label/info only to be asked to send them a pic of the damage again. :( Do you only get 14 days to return an item?

I've been trying since the 27th June to get this sent back.

Still waiting for my order from Zavvi. Ordered it lasy June 25. Does it usually take this long?
It's normal.

Here's mine:
Alice in Wonderland: Shipped 23/06 -> Arrived 03/07
Robin Hood: Shipped 23/06 -> Arrived 02/07
Hercules: Shipped 01/07 -> not yet arrived..
