Here are the most wanted Steelbook releases, as voted for by members of HDN according to the 'Feedback Forum'.

The idea of this thread is to gather the information from threads in the feedback forum and present it all in one place. Studios/Retailers may take notice if our Steelbook wants are presented so clearly. The only rules are that it can not have had a Blu-ray Steelbook release before and must have a majority of yes votes. If you notice a title that is missing (or subsequently matches the criteria), then please post below with a link to the thread.

Like Zavvi did with the Disney collection, someone should pick up the rights to release the Hitchcock collection as steelbooks; as far as I'm aware one or two may be released (Psycho for example??) but would be great to see others- Vertigo, Dial M For Murder, The Birds, etc released- each with exclusively designed artwork and some sense of uniformed identity across the collection would be ace.

I agree completely. I would love to see Field of Dreams in Steelbook form. Nominated for 3 Academy Awards including Best Picture, it is one of my top 10 favourite movies.

The other movie that I would love to see in Steelbook and surprised it has yet to happen is Last of the Mohicans.

Would love to see new Blood Diamond/Prisoners steelbooks made with a unique cover art and not something similar to blu-ray/dvd release. A little late but I also thought a True Detective steelbook would have been great. Lots of images from that show that could translate into a good looking steelbook.

I would want the Theatrical version on there however, wasn't a fan of the comic panel style of the more recent Directors Cut.

It's one of my most wanted steelbooks too. I'll post my mock-up of what I hope a steel for the film would look like, but at this point I'd probably accept any design!
